Master Artist, Batista started her career at the age of three, at her parent's Academy of Dance and Dramatic Arts in Fribourg, Switzerland. She pursued her dance training in Geneva, the Netherlands, France and Spain, and performed with companies throughout Europe.


Today, Batista is a Los Angeles-area based Educator, Speaker, Performer, Choreographer and Conscious Bodybuilder.

Her repertoire of over twenty five choreographies includes ballet, dance/theater, public television performances, summer concert series and video productions. A dancer and soloist, Batista has performed in many cultural arts centers, major auditoriums and venues nationwide and throughout California and toured with Lola Montes and her Spanish Dancers Company as a soloist for over 15 years.

A member of the former LAUSD Arts Community Partnership Network, Batista also presented Assemblies' performances throughout Los Angeles County's various school districts and is a member of the LA County Art, Arts for All initiative, educating people into the inter cultural links subsequent to flamenco's history and evolution.

A teaching artist with the Music Center Education Division, Maestra Batista has conducted Artist in Residence workshops for 15 years in schools around the greater Los Angeles area, LAUSD and Head Start sites, while implementing standard-based classes. She presents educational workshops for parents and conducts advanced workshops for professional teachers, principals and staff. She has presented at the BEST Art Festival for the last eight years.

Having completed over 1500 hours of intensive instruction in the Specialized Art of Body Design, Batista holds a certification of completion by Body Design Formula and is qualified to teach the art of Body Design and Strength Training.

Batista multifaceted accomplishments go beyond dance and Body Work. She holds certification of accomplishments in Intuitive Healing Arts and Gnostic Studies.
