Student Placement Questionnaire
In mid-April, the Upper School Academic Office will send an important email with information about course registration and a questionnaire to complete. Students should complete our placement questionnaire as soon as possible. This information is essential to planning for your attendance at Dana Hall next year.
Course Placement and Registration
You will receive a packet of materials from the Upper School Academic Office with course information, placement tests, and forms for your current school. A member of the Academic Office team will reach out to you to schedule a phone call/video call to discuss your course options for next year and to answer any questions you might have. Our goal is to learn more about you as a student and give you a chance to learn more about the academic program at Dana. You will take placement tests at home, which are one of the tools department heads use to figure out the best course placements. You won’t need to study or prepare for the tests! Dana’s philosophy is to build a schedule that will stretch and challenge you, but not overwhelm you.
